Work Experience: I am a Project Management Professional (PMI) and have worked on projects including the reconfiguration of the Toronto Centre for the Arts. I previously taught at the Toronto Heschel School, Leo Baeck Day School and J.C. Hill Elementary School (Six Nations).
Biography: I came to UCC in 2005. I enjoy coaching the softball team, and have directed plays, musicals and worked in community service. Outside of school, I enjoy working in theatre as an actor, vocalist, and currently, a producer. I have also volunteered in the community, including the Toronto Centre for the Arts and Out of the Cold. I love to travel, and have visited more than 50 countries.

Biography: I graduated from Queen’s University with an Intermediate and Senior designation, but a practicum that I had teaching science and outdoor education to students in grades 5 and 6 at the Island Natural Science School changed my path. I gained enough insight to know that this is where I needed to be. I just started my 21st year at UCC and I’ve never looked back. I’m blessed with a supportive family including my wife, Lisa, and my two kids, Indigo (Grade 4) and Olin (Grade 1). Aside from my passion for the sciences and maths, I enjoy keeping active by playing hockey, soccer, going to the gym and playing golf.

Work Experience: Previous teaching experience includes Resource and Math Support at Sackville Heights Jr. High; Grade 7 and 8 Teacher History & Math at Rothesay Netherwood School; Intervention and Resource Teacher at Rothesay High School and Math Specialist at D’Arcy McGee High School.
Biography: I currently teaching Year 7 math and I’m a Year 7 form adviser. I’m also coach of the Year 7 basketball team.

Work Experience: After graduating from Western University, I joined the faculty at St. Michael’s College School in Toronto and taught and coached at the high school level for eight years. Following a relocation to Vancouver with my husband, I taught core elementary and middle school at The Westside School for nearly two years. As a project for Westside, I launched a Global Education program in China, gaining valuable international experience. Upon our return to Toronto, I joined Hawthorn as a strategic plan consultant and middle years teacher. My previous experience has prepared me to teach MYP math and positively contribute to the UCC community.
Biography: My passion for education was ignited after immigrating to Canada as a child and meeting educators who inspired me. For over a decade, I have been fortunate enough to practice my craft in several independent schools in Canada and abroad. Besides teaching, I enjoy coaching, sailing, back country hiking and yoga. Volunteering allows me to stay connected to my community. Learning about other cultures by traveling to over 30 countries has inspired in me a deep respect for diversity.
