Biography: Growing up in a small manufacturing city outside of Toronto, I always knew there was more to experience in the world. Eager to explore different cultures, landscapes and historical sites, I spent a number of years living and teaching in international schools in Honduras, Dubai and Germany. I’ve been to over 40 countries and am often asked for my favourites. For a combination of friendly cultures and beautiful landscapes, I’d say Guatemala, Kenya and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Travelling is a passion that I love to share with my students, especially when the focus is on service work. It’s a pleasure to have the opportunity to see and help students challenge themselves in new ways, experience new cultures and be outside of their comfort zones, all while focusing on improving the lives of others.
