Simply stated: curriculum is standard, the way it is taught is not. UCC’s core educator values, which are acted upon rather than merely spoken, create a rich environment for learning. A UCC education ignites boys’ curiosity while providing individualized support every step of the way. The Academic focus gives boys all-round confidence, and then challenges them to make a difference.
By the time students graduate, they are primed in every way possible to embark on a successful university education. They are also eligible to receive two diplomas. The International Baccalaureate (IB) is the principal diploma program at UCC and is undertaken by all students in their final two years at the Upper School. The College retains the Ontario Diploma and integrates its subject.
Detailed and up-to-date information on diploma requirements, UCC’s academic policies and procedures, available courses of study and course descriptions can be found in our 2017-2018 Academic Program Guide and 2018-2019 Academic Program Guide.
